A Visionary Educator and Coach
Abdelrahman El-Far, fondly known as Coach Del, is an innovative educator, professional coach, and public speaker who has dedicated his career to empowering young minds. As the founder of Present2Represent (P2R) – the first professional development and coaching body at the University of Nottingham Malaysia – Coach Del has already touched thousands of lives through his training programs. A certified professional coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF), he combines technical expertise with a passion for personal growth to bridge communication gaps and “rectify common leadership pitfalls” in education.
Educational Background & Qualifications
Coach Del’s journey is grounded in a rich educational foundation. He earned a Bachelor’s in Chemical & Environmental Engineering from the University of Nottingham Malaysia, where he not only excelled academically but also served as a Faculty of Engineering student representative. Recognizing the importance of pedagogy and lifelong learning, he later obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the European International University in Paris, equipping him with formal teaching expertise. He is also pursuing advanced studies, which furthers his understanding of how young people can be nurtured to innovate and lead.
In addition to his degrees, Coach Del is internationally certified in coaching and training. He is an ICF-accredited coach and has earned multiple credentials from UK professional bodies (including CPD-UK and other coaching certifications), underscoring his commitment to the highest standards of coaching. He is also TESOL certified, which has enabled him to teach and mentor students from diverse backgrounds in effective communication. With over 1,000 hours of coaching and training experience logged, Coach Del’s qualifications blend technical knowledge with pedagogical skill – a rare combination that sets him apart as an educational leader.
The Present2Represent (P2R) Story – Entrepreneurial Achievements
One of Coach Del’s most inspiring achievements is the creation of Present2Represent (P2R), a professional development initiative he founded as a student in 2017. Noticing how many students struggled with presenting themselves and communicating confidently, he “eagerly strove to bridge the gap of misleading communication” through a new approach. What began as a campus project quickly evolved into something groundbreaking: P2R became the first ever professional development and coaching program at Nottingham Malaysia, and in fact the first of its kind in the university’s last 15 years.
Under Coach Del’s leadership, P2R was integrated as an official module under the prestigious Nottingham Advantage Award – a program recognizing outstanding extracurricular development. In an unprecedented move, the university acknowledged P2R’s impact by accrediting it as a module convener-led course, making Coach Del the first student to officially convene and teach a university module while still an undergraduate. This module, centered on public speaking and professional communication, gave hundreds of students practical coaching in presenting themselves – a testament to Coach Del’s vision of peer-led education.
P2R’s success on campus caught the attention of university leadership. By the time Coach Del graduated, the University of Nottingham Malaysia itself entered into a joint venture partnership with P2R, effectively becoming a stakeholder in his venture. This remarkable endorsement speaks volumes: an institution in the top 1% of universities globally not only embraced his idea but invested in it for the long term. Under this partnership, P2R expanded its reach beyond the university, delivering training workshops to student bodies, other universities, and even industry organizations. To date, Coach Del’s initiative has impacted over 5,000 students and young professionals across Malaysia and beyond – helping them develop confidence, eloquence, and leadership skills. What started as a campus initiative is now an official company with international chapters (including an extension in Egypt), amplifying its mission globally.

Public Speaking & Leadership Highlights
From the lectern to the stage, Coach Del shines as a communicator and leader. In 2018, he took the TEDx stage at the University of Nottingham Malaysia’s inaugural TEDx event. His talk, “Present to Represent,” recounted how he transformed a simple idea into the university’s first professional development platform, inspiring others with the message that every bold venture has an “Actual Beginning.” As a TEDx speaker, he captured the audience with his story of empowering peers to find their voice.
Beyond TEDx, Coach Del has excelled in public speaking competitions and forums. He honed his skills through Toastmasters and other debate and speech tournaments, where his passion for public narrative gave him a winning edge. These experiences not only earned him accolades but also deepened his understanding of how to engage an audience – knowledge he pours back into his coaching.
In leadership roles, Coach Del has always led by example. He served in student government as an Engineering Faculty Representative during his university years, advocating for his peers. He also spearheaded creative initiatives as a Director of Marketing & Creative Media for a youth-led United Nations program (leveraging his skills to support global development causes). Within P2R, he has built and mentored a team of coaches, multiplying his impact. Under his guidance, several of his students have themselves become peer coaches, creating a ripple effect of leadership within the community.
Through all these roles – as a speaker, teacher, and team leader – Coach Del has shown a rare ability to lead with empathy and vision. His style is often described as energetic, insightful, yet approachable. Whether he’s addressing a hall of hundreds or coaching one-on-one, he fosters an environment where ideas are heard and individuals are valued.

Philosophy & Personal Touch
At the heart of Coach Del’s work is a simple philosophy: “Add value to people; become a stakeholder of humanness.” This motto, which he often shares, encapsulates his belief that education is not just about skills, but about humanity. Every coaching session or class he leads is driven by genuine care for personal growth. He helps people “unlearn what’s toxic to them” and replace it with empowering habits of mind. By focusing on mindset and confidence, he ensures that the changes in his students are profound and long-lasting, beyond just winning competitions or acing interviews.
Coach Del also believes that communication is a connector of people. “Networking is not about how many people you know – it’s about how many people can connect through you,” he says, emphasizing the importance of community and service in leadership. In his view, a great speech or lesson isn’t measured by applause alone, but by the conversations and collaborations it sparks. He often notes that “the way a speech is delivered is key to an effective presentation”, highlighting delivery and authenticity over flashy words. This people-centered approach is what makes his coaching resonate with both youth and adult.
Looking Ahead – Impacting Education Together
With a blend of strong academic background, real-world coaching experience, and a heart for service, Coach Abdelrahman “Del” El-Far represents the very best of modern education leadership. He continues to expand Present2Represent’s programs in schools and universities, working hand-in-hand with educators to embed coaching and soft skills development into curricula. His ultimate vision is to build a generation of confident communicators and compassionate leaders – young people who are not only college-ready and career-ready, but also life-ready.
For schools and institutions, partnering with Coach Del means gaining access to cutting-edge training methods and an infectious enthusiasm for improvement. For parents, it means opening new horizons for their children to discover their voices. And for the students who train under Coach Del, it means joining a family of empowered learners who carry forward the values of confidence, connection, and community.
In Coach Del’s own words: “It’s all about the value you bring to the table. When we invest in each other, we all rise.” This ethos is what he brings to every classroom and auditorium – a belief that with the right guidance, every student can rise to their potential and every idea can be the start of something amazing.
